Definition

The quantity of a certain material that represents one homogenous, non-reproducable unit with

unique specifications.

Structure

The batch object contains the following key fields

• Material

• Batch

• Plant

The plant key field is only relevant if plant level is selected as the Batch Level

Integration

You can use batches in all processes throughout the supply chain.

Batches

• Are always assigned to a material

• Can only be used for materials that are to be handled in batches
