Menu path - Logistics->Materials Management->MaterialMaster->Other-> Close Period
Menu path - Logistics->Materials Management->MaterialMaster->Other-> Close Period
USE MMPV AND MMRV FOR THE FISCAL PERIOD CLOSE AND DISPLAY.
Use transaction MMPI . While doing so you will be asked to apply a SAP Note. That note is just to set parameter in your user thru transaction SU01.
dear ahinav, how to open current period also. at the time of migo, it is showing error " posting is allowed 2012/04 & 2012/04" in your company code."

Tick on radio button below -Check and close period and execute or press F8 .your current period will be close and new period will be open.Your error is coming becoz you were doing migo posting in current date and the month opened is in your posting is July.So you need to close the previous month and do the enrty in new month with current date.
